The member attendees were Russ Recchion, Terry Bowman, Norm Sherwood, Jack Wahl, Bob Goldman, Darcie Peet, Lois Griffel, Bart Seitz, Sandy Brodie, Roseann Munger, Kurt Anderson and Carole Beckwith. There was one visitor, John Jefferies. Thanks to all who attended.
For travel time reference, it took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to drive from Oro Valley. I believe next week's drive to Triangle T Ranch is about 1.5 hours from Oro Valley. It is a beautiful location as well and is well worth the trip. You should be sure to see both of these locations.

November
4th: Triangle T
Ranch

Report on Triangle T Guest Ranch, November 4:
The weather was beautiful for our Triangle T Guest Ranch outing this past weekend. I did forget the storage disk for my camera and had to borrow Kurt Anderson ’s camera for group pictures. But otherwise, it was a perfect day. I love that place; it is so peaceful. Guess it must have been too far for many of you as we only had nine people attend.
Members who were there were Kurt Anderson , Bob Goldman, Bart Seitz, Norm Sherwood, Roger Alderman, Holly Ahner. Two visitors were Patty Dennison and Bill Meager.
Should those who missed it want to go another time, it still takes 1.5 hours from Oro Valley . Not that far.

Jack Wahl 1ST. PLACE Three Way tie for second Jerry Pond, Dianne Van Noord, Cindy Carrillo
Cindy was right. Boyce Thompson Arboretum is beautiful, magnificent and so worth the trip. I only saw a small part of it because I was carrying my way -too-heavy paint stuff; next trip I will take my rolling suitcase for my paint stuff. I plan to make multiple trips back to paint some sights that caught my eye in the short area I did walk.
The contest was fun. So much pondering of the paintings, layed out on a picnic table. Finally, the winners were:
First Place: Jack Wahl Second tied: Diane Van Noord, Cindy Carrillo, and Jerry Pond.
Most returned home right after the judging. Two of us thought it was our duty to check out a lunch spot in Superior. We went to the one with the homemade tortillas. The best Mexican food I ever had.
Attendees from our group totaled eight. There were four more of which two plan to join our club. Members who were there were Cindy Carrillo, Chris Rightmer, Jack Wahl, Jerry Pond, Brian Jones, Gail Munden, Diane Van Noord, Carole Beckwith. Visitors were Diane Paull, Patty Rosky, Barbara Thacker, and Ruth Philliben.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Be seeing you next week at Agua Caliente.
Carole Beckwith, Paint-out Chairperson 2006-2007
During December, the colors are in force with an Arizona fall a little later in the season. The BTA is 60 miles east of Tempe on Hwy. 60. From Tucson it is about 90 miles.. There is lush Sonoran desert, 50 year old eucalyptus trees, giant pine, creek beds (often with water), colorful cliffs of Picket Post Mountain, picnic grounds and a well designed demonstration garden with ponds. The variety is endless for painting subject matter. 3 miles further east on Hwy 60 is the town of Superior, there is the Buckboard Restaurant and Los Hermanos, and a circle K.
Thanks to the BTA for the photos, see their website for more information
