Paint-out Schedule for

2010

Our last paint-out is scheduled for May 15th at 8:00 am. We have changed the painting location to downtown Tucson. We'll meet in Maloney's parking lot as usual and then spread out to paint where ever you like. Below is Bob Goldman's Meyers Street painting from downtown to inspire and motivate.

This past year has been a challenging year for artists everywhere. We should work on our strengths as the amazing group that we are in order to be as prolific as we would like individually. Lets work together for an epic year of art in 2011! At 11:30 we will meet at El Charro's Restaurant for our (very very short) annual meeting and refreshments. I'll just brief everyone on our next two years of scheduled shows and announce the new president and board members. Our next few years are very promising with a national show in the works for 2012 and the big gallery at the Desert Museum.

Paint-outs are held the 1st and 3rd Sat. of each month from Oct. through May. You may attend one Paint-out before becoming a member of TPAPS. The events start at 8:00am unless a special time is noted. Check back to this site for changes.

Meet in the parking lot on the South side of the church.

Meet in the parking lot before the entrance fee booth if you want to carpool in.

2/6    Catalina State Park
Meet at the Eastern end.

Annual meeting. 1:00 PM. Lunch and painting in the afternoon.

Drive 1st Ave North to Ina, turn on Christie for about one mile to Magee Road turn North (right) meet in the parking lot. Afternoon start time 2:00 PM.

Sonoita Creek State Natural Area, 400 Patagonia Lake Rd. meet at the “The Birding Trailhead” picnic table area. Map at Visitors Center.
