Thank you for participating in the first year of
the State Park Paint-outs. Congratulations for being in the top
three winners! The Winners Show will be held January 5 through
January 27th , 2008 at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park
Gallery. The reception will be held Saturday January 5th
from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.
* To keep costs down we are asking participating
artists to bring a finger food item for the opening. We will have
coffee and tables set up for the food. The other way to make this show truly successful is for all of the participating artists to send out announcements to your mailing lists about the event. Email announcements are always good but the old fashioned snail mail invitation makes a bigger impact to your buyers. This is the first of what will be an annual show to be presented by the State Parks and we need your help to get it off the ground. Please return the enclosed form right away to help us in preparing for the show. Your paintings will further raise awareness of the amazing beauty of our Arizona State Parks. Hand Delivery :to the Arboretum on January 5th by 3:00pm Reception: January 5th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm Paint Out at the Arboretum All afternoon- January 5th End of show January 27th Hand pickup of unsold work Jan. 27th
Include
an artist bio, and business cards with delivered paintings. there
will be a notebook to present all the artists bios for public
viewing.
Mail back the signature form by December 20th, 2007 along with two business cards. Label the back of paintings CLEARLY with:

Award won Delivery and Return of Accepted work: Work may be hand-delivered on January 5th. Plan to come up and paint during the day. Shipped entries must be prepaid and packed in sturdy, reusable cartons with reusable packing materials (do not use Styrofoam peanuts). If using wooden cartons, no nails. Prepaid bar coded return shipping label MUST accompany the artwork. Obtaining an account with the shipper of your choice facilitates the return safe of your artwork. *Ship to arrive to the State Parks office no later than Jan. 3rd, 2008.

State Parks Arizona is not responsible for artwork in the gallery. The public has access to the gallery. The artist is responsible to drop-off the artwork on Jan. 5 at the Arboretum or to mail with a postage prepaid label for return to the State Parks office.no later than Jan. 3rd, 2008. Attn: Mary Alice Daenzer. The Boyce Thompson Arboretum will retain a 15 % commission on each sale. I have read the Conditions, and shipping instructions and I agree to comply.
